Biografie

Sandra Vásquez de la Horra wurde 1967 in Viña del Mar/Chile geboren, wo sie während des autoritären Regimes von Augusto Pinochet in einer katholischen Familie aufwuchs. Nach ihrem Studium der Visuellen Kommunikation von 1989–1994 an der Hochschule für Gestaltung in Viña del Mar zog sie nach Deutschland, wo sie an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf bei Jannis Kounellis und Rosemarie Trockel studierte, bevor sie 2001-2003 die Kunsthochschule für Medien in Köln besuchte. Derzeit lebt und arbeitet sie in Berlin.
